Overeenkomstig de Belgische transparantiewetgeving1 ontving Galapagos op 11 februari 2026 een transparantieverklaring van Bank of America Corporation. Daaruit blijkt dat Bank of America Corporation, als controlerende entiteit, op 9 februari 2026 de drempel van 5% van de stemrechten van Galapagos heeft overschreden, met inbegrip van de drempel van 5% voor gelijkwaardige financiële instrumenten, als gevolg van de verwerving van stemrechten en gelijkwaardige financiële instrumenten van Galapagos.
Op 11 februari 2026 bezat Bank of America Corporation (rekening houdend met de deelneming van haar dochterondernemingen) 104.522 stemrechten en 3.415.894 gelijkwaardige financiële instrumenten, wat gezamenlijk neerkomt op 5.34% van de momenteel uitstaande 65.897.071 aandelen van Galapagos.
